JRFの歴史
ジャイプール・ラグズ基金は、絨毯の製造・輸出販売を行う「ジャイプール・ラグズ・カンパニー」の社会貢献事業として、２００４年に設立されたNPO財団です。アメリカ・ヨーロッパを中心にグローバルな市場を持つジャイプール・ラグズ・カンパニーによって、農村部の職工達によって織られた絨毯を確実に販売することができ、またそれにより適正な利益を職工達に還元することを可能にしています。 創業者のNKチョウダリーは、絨毯産業に過去３５年従事してまいりました。彼の持つ「絨毯の職能教育を通じて、地域全体の社会的・経済的発展をサポートする」という理念の基、我々は事業を拡大させつつ、様々な分野に活動の手を広げています
• JRFは、農村部の職工達が彼らに不利な条件下で仕事をしていることに気づき、活動を始めました。
• JRFは様々なプログラムを通じて、地域に残る貧困の根を取り除く活動をしていおります。

Exceptional quality products manufactured in an environment friendly manufacturing unit under the supervision of highly experienced quality checkers and skilled workers have helped Jaipur Rugs to attain the ISO 9000 / ISO 14000 and SA 8000 certification.
